Introduction to the market
Introduction of the electrical equipment to the market means an arrangement of the first availability of the electrical equipment to the market in the Slovak Republic in the framework of the entrepreneurship.

 

Availability of the electrical equipment on the market
Availability of the electrical equipment on the market means the supply of the electrical equipment to the market in the Slovak Republic for distribution, consumption or use in the framework of entrepreneurship, both, paid or free of charge.

 

Basic definition of the electrical equipment
Electrical equipment means the appliances that need electric current or electromagnetic field for their operation, and appliances for production, transfer and measurement of such current and field that are designed for use under voltage up to 1 000 V for A.C. current and up to 1 500 V for D.C. current.
An appliance is considered as
electrical equipment when it corresponds to the above conditions and the exceptions described below do not apply to it.

 

Waste from electrical equipment
Waste from electrical equipment means such electrical equipment that became a waste, including all its components, construction parts and consumables forming the electrical equipment in the time period when the holder scrap it.

 

Household waste from electrical equipment
Household waste from electrical equipment means the electro-waste originating from households and merchandise, industrial, institutional and other resources that is similar by its characteristics and amount to the household waste; waste from electrical equipment that is supposed to be used by households and other users than households is always considered as household waste from electrical equipment.
