On 23 December 2025, an amendment to the Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) was published in the Official Journal of the EU. It will enter into force on 26 December 2025, meaning that the official postponement by one year has once again been approved.

At the same time, we would like to draw your attention again to the fact that, as part of this amendment, Annex I of the EUDR was also revised. Annex I defines the relevant products falling under the scope of the EUDR.
The EUDR WILL NOT APPLY to the group of products classified under code 49 – Printed books, newspapers, pictures and other products of the printing industry; manuscripts, typescripts and plans, of paper.
These products are exempt from the obligations.
In January, we will prepare updated guidance materials for you regarding the obligations arising from the EUDR regulation.
