NATUR-PACK PRO Returns as an Active Participant at the ZMOS General Assembly

The NATUR-PACK PRO team took part in the 38th General Assembly of the ZMOS Association. Our municipal relations managers actively participated in the event, alongside our CEO, Michal Sebíň.

There was no shortage of topics for discussion. Legislation affecting both producers and municipalities continues to evolve, recycling targets are becoming increasingly ambitious, and achieving further progress requires close cooperation among all stakeholders. This is why we greatly value being a long-standing participant in this event, which each year provides a unique opportunity to meet with representatives of our partner municipalities, discuss current challenges, and work together on solutions that improve the efficiency of separate waste collection.

This year's assembly provided us with valuable insights, inspiring discussions, and renewed motivation to continue supporting the development of separate waste collection in Slovakia. We firmly believe that open dialogue, the exchange of experience, and strong cooperation are the foundation of successful and sustainable solutions in waste management.

Since 2016, the costs of separate waste collection in Slovakia have been fully covered by producers—that is, companies placing products on the Slovak market. However, the continued development of the system depends on effective collaboration among all key stakeholders, including producers, municipalities, waste collection companies, and Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs).

The event also provided an opportunity to introduce our Waste Collection Calendar mobile application, which we launched earlier this year. The app is already helping thousands of households keep track of collection schedules and sort their waste correctly. We are delighted by the positive feedback we have received from both municipalities and residents, and we believe that digital solutions will play an increasingly important role in the future of modern waste management.
