A person who placed the packaging and non-packaging products on the Slovak market that have a potential to end-up as a municipal waste bears the entire responsibility. This principle is called Extended Producer Responsibility. Such producers are associated by the Producer Responsibility Organization for packaging (PRO for packaging).
NATUR-PACK, as one of the PRO for packaging fulfills for its clients (producers) the legislatively required obligations. The company finances the system of separated waste collection by the resources acquired from these producers in the contracted municipalities.
NATUR-PACK helps the municipalities to educate the public in the sector of waste generation prevention, waste separation, on the possibilities of waste management and other important issues.
The municipalities are the key partners in the field of separate collection of the municipal waste.
