NATUR-PACK fulfilled obligations for more than 8,500 manufacturers
As every year, in 2024 we fulfilled all legal obligations on behalf of our clients – manufacturers of packaging, non-packaging products, electrical equipment, batteries and accumulators. Within the legally stipulated deadline, we submitted notifications to the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic pursuant to Section 27, paragraph 4, letter h) of Act No. 79/2015 Coll. on Waste.

Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) postponed by one year, i.e. from 30.12.2025
The entry into force of the EU Deforestation Regulation, also known as the EUDR, has been postponed by a year. The amendment to the regulation with the change in effect was published in the Official Journal of the EU on 23 December 2024.

Council approves regulation on packaging and packaging waste
New EU rules for sustainable packaging were approved by the Council of the European Union on December 16, 2024. The regulation, known as PPWR - Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, will introduce measures to reduce waste and promote reuse.
